Maranatha Says yes!!
We have been praying that the
Lord would again, be gracious to us by partnering with Maranatha Baptist
Bible College. And He has heard us!!! Bro. Scott Hawes paid
us a visit recently, and he has reported to the college that our work is
one compatible with their vision of ministry for their students.
One major hurdle has passed, and we have one more to address.
Pastor G must make several trips up to the college to recruit students
for our ministry. At this time of year, many students have already
made commitments to other ministries, so we need nee another miracle!
Rev Howe & WMAF on the move!
Several months ago, Rev Howe
presented the ministries of WMAF to a pastors conference. Because
of this meeting, the Lord has opened several opportunities for Rev Howe
to schedule meetings with independent Baptist churches. Rev Howe
has been asked to speak in Utah and Arizona this month, and is
scheduling meetings in the east next month. The Lord has provided
a huge opportunity for WMAF to impact our servicemen and women world
wide. This opportunity will provide a gospel witness to every man
and woman who has enlisted in the U.S. military. We anticipate God
will provide the necessary funds and labor to make this happen.

Sunday Evenings a Blast!
We have changed our Sunday evening format to incorporate more singing!
And brother, is it a good time of fellowship.
The Lord begins to move, our people prayerfully pick out favorites, and
we have a sweet time of singing. We even try to stump the
song-leader and musicians! God does speak to us through the
preaching, but it is equally important to worship God in song. So,
come join us on Sunday nights as we celebrate how good and benevolent
our God is to all who call upon His name.
New Visitation Project
For the summer, we have decided to visit our neighbors and friends to
encourage them in a relationship with Christ.
We are beginning to se attendance crawl back up, but we felt convicted
to do more for reaching our neighborhoods. Please pray with us as
we seek to share the gospel with those around us! While we are
visiting, there will be a core of people at the church praying for us
that visit. They are committed to praying, without ceasing, until
we return. We truly believe that if we put our feet to the work.
God will bless and we will grow again.
