Military Ministry
 

Here at North Shore Baptist church, we consider the members of our armed forces as special guests. Together, with World Ministries to the Armed Forces, we provide ministry to those stationed at Great Lakes Training Center, meeting their unique needs.

Knowing that the majority of our young sailors stationed at Great Lakes are without transportation, we seek to help them get to church and activities when they can. To help them do this, our military guests can call 1.847.731.6242 to arrange for the place and time of pick-up.

If our military guests can make it to our Sunday services, we consider it a privilege to have them in our homes for Sunday supper. We enjoy providing home cooked meals and Christian fellowship. Whether they stay for the fellowship, or simply to 'crash' on a friendly couch, we are glad to have them.

Lastly, we encourage our military guests to consider us their home-church away from home. We enjoy having them out to our College and Career activities as well as church activities. We provide transportation without hesitation.
